Please be aware of the many hotel reservation scams circulating. “Housing Pirates” or “Poachers” prey on conference attendees each year, fraudulently claiming association with events such as DEAMcon, offering discounted hotel rates. A commonly used strategy is to target past attendees by posing as a third-party organization (such as Events Housing or Elite Housing Services) that handles payments and billing information.

These organizations focus on selling hotel rooms that do not exist to gain access to your personal and credit card information. The only authorized booking tool can be found below (once available).
